VMAX ROV Simulator
Professional Undersea Pilot Training System
VMAX Project simulator software is used to develop various offshore simulation applications (e.g. ROV, Crane, Vessel simulation, Asset Integrity Management software).
VMAX has had a successful track record within the industry over the years and capitalizes on that by releasing its new software, VMAX 2.6, which provides more flexibility and power to its end users. VMAX has helped reduce costly engineering change orders and improves operating margins on significant projects most notably projects such as Cascade & Chinook field for Petrobras US.
Key Features
- Extremely realistic visuals for lighting and shows coupled with highly accurate physics simulation and collision that can have a dramatic impact on both mission execution as well as presentation to clients.
- Robust application solution via the VMAXEditor that provides the option to VMAX‟s clients to develop mission in-house as part of their engineering efforts. VMAX provides the training on how to do utilize this tool.
The new scenario, Treasure Hunt, introduces an exciting and unique environment to explore while practicing 5-function manipulator control and tether management.
The scenario is set in a Greco-Roman style ruin submerged beneath the sea with artifacts to be picked up and placed in bins for later archeological examination.
The underlying purpose of the scenario is to help pilots with situational awareness, tether management, and 5-function manipulator usage.
The scenario is specifically designed to be completed without the use of the 7-function manipulator.
